  1. Return a proper 404

    Search results for our site return pages that have long been deleted. Turns out that deleted pages return a 302 (redirect found) and the resulting page returns a 200 code (OK).

  2. User Analytics

    Better ability to search users and what changes they've made, a history of their log ins for accountability. We have no way of knowing if people actually have been logging in or not with just the "last login" and pages to have a history of who made changes/updates for accountability.

  3. Additional Search Fields and Filtering for the Staff Directory Obfuscation App

    The new Staff Directory app with hidden emails is a big step forward over the open emails in the minibase but we need the ability to select additional fields to include in the search bar. For example, department or grade level would be helpful. In addition, we'd like to be able to filter on any of the colunmn headers to allow us to display subsets of the directory on specific pages much like we can with the minibase. An alternative would be to add obfuscation/ a web contact form for emails included in the minibase.

  5. Headlines and Features app display - should have slide-up view available on all pages (not just homepage)

    The homepage displays the headline & Feature app so that when you mouse over the accent image, the headline/story content displays. Would love to have this option on other pages of the site.

  6. Add Conditional Form Type response to question

    I would like to be able to add a conditional (IF-THEN-ELSE) type statement question to a Form within Web Community Manager. We have situations where we deal with multiple school districts and need to know what district the student/parent is associated with. Based on that response will determine the remaining questions asked. IF <district> go to page 2 of survey or go to page 3 of survey, etc. Nested IF-Then-Else statements would be needed as well.

  7. Staff Directory Web Form (rather than advertising email)

    Emails should not be posted to websites due to Spam Bots and/or ease of criminals accessing and spear phishing. When contacting a staff member, it should go to a web form that sends to the org email. Even if emails are obfuscated, web form should be a requirement.

  8. Stafford PS App

    The Stafford PS app for our school division has changed where the Events icon just goes to the division Web page that lists calendar events. It used to go to the app's calendar where a user could select which calendars to include. It was great because I could see our high school's calendar alongside the division calendar. I could also see our high school sporting events. The calendars are still syncing in ParentLink but there is no where to select those calendars from the app.

  9. When viewing Current Pages or Site Files, add option to find links to a page/file

    Whether viewing your "Current Pages" or "Site Files," each item should have an option to find existing links to the item. After several years of use, there will inevitably be files or pages that are no longer needed. if you simply "Delete" a page or image, it may create broken links for your website visitors, but there is no way to tell beforehand. It would be extremely helpful, especially for teachers, to have a "Check if Used" or "Find Links to this Item" option. A popup window could tell you if you can safely remove the item or if you…

  10. Search Feature for restricted internal sites (Google blocked by login)

    We're using a subsite for our Intranet (internal only to org users), requires login and therefore Google cannot index it. We need a tool to enable Staff to search the internal only site.

  11. Make it possible to specify the number of minibase records to display using embed code parameter

    Please make it possible to set a limit in minibase filter embed code for the number of minibase records displayed. (Though this can be done globally in the minibase itself, in some locations I want to display fewer records than the minibase settings -- like on a school's front page, for instance, where there's limited space.) In Twitter feed embed code, for example, they use: data-tweet-limit="2". Something like [$APP ID=40253 Limit="3" props="Field1:2019-2020; Field14:116; Field16:n;"$].

  12. Annual recurring events should have option to select a specific DAY (i.e. 3rd Thursday) and not just the DATE of the month.

    Our board meetings are always on the 3rd Thursday, since you don't have the option to set different locations on a monthly recurring event (also an error in programming!) I would like to set up my Jan meeting to occur at our middle school every year on the 3rd week. The only option that currently exists for annual events is to have them recur on the same DATE every year. This puts my 2020 Jan meeting on a Sat.

  13. Pre-Populate Content in Page Type/Section Configuration

    We used to have the ability to pre-populate content when creating page types. I was recently trying to do so for our teachers for their schedules using the Table App but found that this function no longer exists.

    This would be most helpful to our District as the more pre-populated features we can push out to staff, the more consistent the websites’ appearance.

    It would be great to have an option for a grid layout and/or to be able to create custom page layouts. It gets really frustrating and time consuming to try to make a grid layout with how it's currently set up. Thanks

  17. Make Multimedia Gallery apps available in the App Manager directly after importing

    If an existing Web Community Manager client purchases a new template with an MMG, they must first import it in as a custom app. Then begins the process of: Adding an initial app directly to a page, name it, caption it, add alt text, upload an image, save it, and then preview it on a site. All of which needs to be done before that app is available to add and create an instance in the App Manager. This whole process needs to be repeated for each and every sub-site.     Please make the homepage photo gallery in the Sunrise template resize consistently -- i.e., keep the aspect ratio (proportion between horizontal and vertical dimensions) a constant 1.6 (like the original 1500 x 950px). Currently, the vertical dimension varies significantly in proportion to the width at different screen resolutions, causing the top and bottom of the photo to be cropped off on most desktop screens.
