  1. For Content Moderation

I would like the ability to give editor permission down to the page level but not the entire section.

We currently have users that need to edit pages in different sections but not necessarily all the pages in specific sections.

  2. Internal (back end of website) search needed

There should be a tool on the back end of the website that can search the entire site for a keyword. It could work for content apps or files. It's very hard to find where something is located sometimes.

  3. Remove Link button

Please bring back the "Remove Link" button that was on the Flex Editor. There are some pages that have an abundance of links that I have to update with new reports once a year because it is required by state law. The link library is too lengthy for this situation, and I use styling to make the page shorter so that our parents don't have to scroll so much.

  5. Content Moderation - Give approver the ability edit content in the approval queue.

Content Moderation - Give approver the ability edit content in the approval queue, rather than having to simply reject it and have the section editor's work be lost. Or add a button to the workflow to allow the approver to return the edits-in-progress to the section editor with a request that they revise something.

  6. Content Moderation - Give approver the ability to view formatting before approving.

As of 11/2017, content moderation approvers and see text to approve but not formatting. As we tighten our formatting in compliance with ADA accessibility requirements, we really need a View Page feature as part of content moderation, so we can see exactly what we're approving, beyond the visible text.

  7. Please fix spell check.

The spell check feature is very important to the overall success of our website. It's a pain to place content in Word or somewhere else that has spell check capability.

  8. Add superscript/ subscript button to content app toolbar

Add button to content app toolbar that will allow users to easily format subscript and superscript characters.

  9. Student User Upload Capability

I'd like my students to be able to upload links to useful articles and webpages that they come across throughout the semester so that they can easily share them with all of their classmates. At the moment, there's no way to let them upload anything, so they have to send it to me and I have to upload it instead.

  10. Content Moderation - history of approvals/declines

There needs to be a history of approvals and declines, similar to the calendar and comments areas. This will allow us to better manage approvals.

  11. When viewing moderated content for approval, show exactly what content has been deleted/added.

Right now when I view items in the approval queue, I have no clue how the content has been changed. This should be indicated either by strikethrough/red text or green text (similar to track changes in Microsoft Word) or as a side-by-side comparison with edited areas highlighted (similar to Wordpress).

  13. discussion

Please build the option to specify a moderator for discussions. Currently you have to create a specific section for that discussion and add an email address for the section contact. This is fine if you only have one person moderating the discussions. But if we have multiple discussion boards going on at once with different moderators, it seems silly to have to create a separate section for each one.

  14. monitor images for copyrighted content

I'm told by SchoolWires support that SchoolWires doesn't have this capability yet. We need to find a way to monitor our site (specifically the teacher pages) for copyrighted content--mainly copyrighted images.

  15. Moderated Users List

Currently, the list of Moderated Users is not in any particular order with only 6 names to a page and no download/manage option, making it difficult to manage the group. We use this feature for student webmasters for our clubs. The students change every year, so it is important to keep the list up to date.

  16. Ability to require approval when creating, deleting or hiding pages from a moderated account

Currently, when content moderation is in place, moderated editors can still add, delete or hide pages without approval from the moderator. This has potential for big disasters that a school wouldn't even be aware of initially. Saying a section or account is moderated, but then allowing people to delete pages without approval is very misleading...
