  1. The option to drag different colums to a page instead of preselecting from the layout options.

    Having to pick from the 12 options has a lot of limits. We should have an option to select how many columns each section should be instead of dragging to a predefined section. For example, if I want to start with a 3 column section I have to create my own code since there is no layout available for that.

  2. Link Upcoming Events to FaceBook

    Create a web app that will allow the Upcoming Events section to connect and post to a linked Facebook account. This link could post on the wall or Events section of the facebook page.

  3. Make event registration experience better

    First off, not showing the registration button is very confusing to my audience- having the button there that would take you to the Sign In page was easy. NEXT, why is the SSO button below the regular sign in- it would be nice if that were customizable to have a subhead above saying Employees Sign In Here-or something like that.
    Thirdly, once signed in with SSO, it puts you back to the District homepage which is very disorienting for the user as we have a subsite for our Professional Development. A visitor will then need to navigate all the way…

  4. Font size in editor

    When we create a new page and we use the Content app (or any app with the editor) the default font size is smaller rather than normal. Please adjust the editor to default to the NORMAL size font.

    Why is the drop down still saying Flex Editor. There is no Flex to it and I thought that term was replaced.

  6. Custom Form Notifications

    Please add the option to customize notification recipients based on a selection from the form.

    We have one form that is utilized by 30+ buildings. It would be beneficial if a person could choose a building(s) and based on the building name, the form will send the notification to that building(s) contact.

    With the current set up, we will need to copy a form 30+ time and risk having to make 30+ updates, if the form needs to be updated/changed.

  7. Users workspace needs updating

    The entire User management page needs to be updated. It's very cumbersome to work in. For example, when you type in a name to look up, you can't type the name, then "enter". You must then pick up the mouse and click Filter. Also, Edline had a better way to view and display users. This system is extremely outdated and needs updating so you can easily view users quickly. Not have to search them one by one. Right now only so many (25?) appear on a page before you must select the next page, but it's a searchers nightmare to…

  8. Update iCal feed subscription instructions for iOS Devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad)

    It was brought to our attention that the current directions on the iCal Feed page for subscribing on iOS devices are incorrect and need to be updated, since they have changed the layout of their settings menus and are now on iOS 12.

  9. Separate permissions to edit the calendar and edit the home page

    Please Separate permissions to edit the calendar and edit the home page. If I give a departmental user permissions to edit a district calendar, they also can edit everything on the home page. This is a ridiculous over-permissioning and It puts my website in danger.

    It would be great if we could arrange staff directory listings. I.e. I have a leadership staff directory that I'd like to sort by leader, i.e. Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, etc.

    Allow photos in the 1280 x 500 gallery to have a status option, such as Inactive or Active. This would be extremely helpful.

    (Specifically In my Home Page of School District Site).

    There are (the same) pictures I like to load depending on the season and would rely on this feature. It's an feature that is available elsewhere on the Blackboard sites/my school site, why not for the gallery area? I've asked on the phone in the past years, but not in this venue. Please allow.

  14. Extend Google Sign-in option to all sign-in pages

    The current Google Sign-in option is good, but needs to be available on all sign-in pages when turned on. Two examples of pages are the sign-in page for the content moderation approval queue and the sign-in page for Universal Navigation between WCM and BB Comms sites.

  15. Consistent field names

    It would be incredibly helpful for the back end to have consistent names for things such at title and alt text. In some places it's called tooltip and most users don't know what a "tooltip" is. I didn't even know until I did an accessibility training with Blackboard.

  16. Fixed accessibility errors are still listed in issues...

    When I fix accessibility issues they still show up on the list of issues, which makes it hard to go through and work on new things day to day. If fixed issues are still going to be listed, being able to filter them out somehow would be great. Alternatively, simply not listing them in the Accessibility issues section would help too.

  17. New vs. revised Headlines & Features new items

    Since news items are sometimes "recycled" from one year to the next, it would helpful if an existing item could somehow be made "new" when it's revised so it would be displayed up front on the mobile app. It's a nuisance to have to cut and paste all of the old content into a new article.

  18. require minimum 9 characters on public user name

    Our AD limits user IDs to 8 characters. We find that often non staff squat on user names that are needed (assigned) to staff. TO use LDAP, CMS User Name must match the 3-8 character AD user ID. If we require outsiders to have user names > 8 characters, we prevent any outsiders from taking unique user names that future staff may need.

  19. Table App Accessibility Compliance

    Add accessibility fields to Table App, as is, it completely fails Web Accessibility standards. Tables must have column and row headers. Data in a table should have code to reference the column and row it represents as a TD HEADER. Abbreviations in table data should have code to add ABBR TITLE to the TD. If you cannot make the Table App accessible, at least make the code available within the app so that editors can manually code tables for accessibility.
