  1. Users workspace needs updating

    The entire User management page needs to be updated. It's very cumbersome to work in. For example, when you type in a name to look up, you can't type the name, then "enter". You must then pick up the mouse and click Filter. Also, Edline had a better way to view and display users. This system is extremely outdated and needs updating so you can easily view users quickly. Not have to search them one by one. Right now only so many (25?) appear on a page before you must select the next page, but it's a searchers nightmare to…

  2. have the filter users search be on the user workspace without having to click the "filter users" button.

    99.2% of the time that I go to the user workspace it's to search for and edit a particular user.

    Each time I have to go through the additional, unnecessary step of having to click on the filter users button in order to search.

    It should be there on the page already.

  3. Extend Google Sign-in option to all sign-in pages

    The current Google Sign-in option is good, but needs to be available on all sign-in pages when turned on. Two examples of pages are the sign-in page for the content moderation approval queue and the sign-in page for Universal Navigation between WCM and BB Comms sites.

  4. User Analytics

    Better ability to search users and what changes they've made, a history of their log ins for accountability. We have no way of knowing if people actually have been logging in or not with just the "last login" and pages to have a history of who made changes/updates for accountability.

  5. require minimum 9 characters on public user name

    Our AD limits user IDs to 8 characters. We find that often non staff squat on user names that are needed (assigned) to staff. TO use LDAP, CMS User Name must match the 3-8 character AD user ID. If we require outsiders to have user names > 8 characters, we prevent any outsiders from taking unique user names that future staff may need.

  6. Sort User Last Sign In list in reverse chronological order

    In Site Manager > Users & Groups > Users > Filter type = By Last Sign In, it would be more helpful and efficient to have this list sorted in reverse chronological order.

    Currently the process to see the most recent users to sign in involves scrolling to the bottom of the first page > clicking on the last page number in the list > then scrolling to the bottom of that page.

  7. Easily make User Group from anyone who signs in using LDAP or SAML

    make it simple to restrict viewers to just employees by creating automatically a group for anyone who signs in using SAML or LDAP.

  8. BB Comms

    Ad hoc report that provides all Manually created accounts for the District and individual schools. Currently the only way to determine a manual account is to open the account and if you can change the account role then it is a manual account. Very tedious.

  9. Need to search for a page using the page number in the back-end.

    We have several subsites and need to locate a redirected page. Right now we have to contact BB to escalate the issue. It would be helpful to be able to enter a page number and find the origin of the redirect to remove it.

  10. Classic Edit

    The classic edit design is in my opinion much easier to use and more elegantly laid out. I like the simple structure, clean lines and color coded system. Please do not take away our ability to use this feature...or simply go back or improve on classic.

  11. Universal Connector - Option To Inactivate Users On Import

    Currently with the Universal Connector import process, there is an option to delete users who are not on the list. It would be great to have an additional option to inactivate users who are not on the list.

  12. Add ParentID to the Parent Report

    The Parent Report spits out parents names, student IDs, students names, and parent contact Info. It would be nice if it also gave the Parent ID as we use that as a identifier for the parents in multiple systems.

  13. Access to Homepage editing & Calendar with files/folder but not entire site

    It would be nice to give staff homepage/calendar editing rights with use of the file/folder, without having to give those staff access to the entire site. There are staff that edit the homepage and need the folder, but should not have privileges to the rest of the site.

  14. I would like to request that there be a way to export the Last Modified Report for an entire suite of school sites, instead of only one.

    Currently, if you have a number of schools in one district, you can only export the Last Modified report one site at a time. It would be be beneficial in our governance to be able to export them all at once so we can see who has been updating and who has not.

    Similarly, the Last Log-in information from the Users report could include some of the Last Modified Report, so we would know what was modified, by whom, and when it was modified.

    This would greatly facilitate governance.

  15. Permissions to a specific app

    I would like to be able to assign permissions to a specific app and not the page. This way I can have others update certain apps on the home page without having to give permissions to the entire site.

  16. Users: Need to know the date added and date last updated in the User profile.

  17. Active directory

    Currently WCM only queries LDAP/Active Directory on login. This means user changes and group changes only happen at that moment. With Google Auth enabled, this user and group management functionality is bypassed and never happens. It would be great to have WCM either A) Do a nightly sync with LDAP/Active Directory to pull users and groups into the system or B) Do a cross-reference process on Google Auth.

  19. Referenced User Data from main Staff Directory App

    So I realize this is a big one, and I'm not sure even how it would work but how many schools out there have the same staff listed in multiple places? (ie., a counselor who is listed in the schools/districts directories, and on pages like a school counseling page). It would be awesome to have a staff reference app, where you check off a subset of staff members you want to display on a secondary page that actually references the original directory app. This way, when a user changes their last name/email/phone number/etc it changes everywhere throughout all sites on…

  20. Make Google Login more prominent on Login Page

    Now that Google has a Single Sign you there should be a way to remove the Blackboard Login all together or move it to the bottom of the page.
