    Allow photos in the 1280 x 500 gallery to have a status option, such as Inactive or Active. This would be extremely helpful.

    (Specifically In my Home Page of School District Site).

    There are (the same) pictures I like to load depending on the season and would rely on this feature. It's an feature that is available elsewhere on the Blackboard sites/my school site, why not for the gallery area? I've asked on the phone in the past years, but not in this venue. Please allow.

  2. Extend Google Sign-in option to all sign-in pages

    The current Google Sign-in option is good, but needs to be available on all sign-in pages when turned on. Two examples of pages are the sign-in page for the content moderation approval queue and the sign-in page for Universal Navigation between WCM and BB Comms sites.

  3. Consistent field names

    It would be incredibly helpful for the back end to have consistent names for things such at title and alt text. In some places it's called tooltip and most users don't know what a "tooltip" is. I didn't even know until I did an accessibility training with Blackboard.

  4. User Analytics

    Better ability to search users and what changes they've made, a history of their log ins for accountability. We have no way of knowing if people actually have been logging in or not with just the "last login" and pages to have a history of who made changes/updates for accountability.

  5. When viewing Current Pages or Site Files, add option to find links to a page/file

    Whether viewing your "Current Pages" or "Site Files," each item should have an option to find existing links to the item. After several years of use, there will inevitably be files or pages that are no longer needed. if you simply "Delete" a page or image, it may create broken links for your website visitors, but there is no way to tell beforehand. It would be extremely helpful, especially for teachers, to have a "Check if Used" or "Find Links to this Item" option. A popup window could tell you if you can safely remove the item or if you…

  6. require minimum 9 characters on public user name

    Our AD limits user IDs to 8 characters. We find that often non staff squat on user names that are needed (assigned) to staff. TO use LDAP, CMS User Name must match the 3-8 character AD user ID. If we require outsiders to have user names > 8 characters, we prevent any outsiders from taking unique user names that future staff may need.

  7. Table App Accessibility Compliance

    Add accessibility fields to Table App, as is, it completely fails Web Accessibility standards. Tables must have column and row headers. Data in a table should have code to reference the column and row it represents as a TD HEADER. Abbreviations in table data should have code to add ABBR TITLE to the TD. If you cannot make the Table App accessible, at least make the code available within the app so that editors can manually code tables for accessibility.

    In my staff directory (minibase) we need a way to sort first name a-z and/or last name a-z at the same time. This way if the public or a staff member knows the first name it would sort alphabetically OR if the same person only knew the last name, the last names would sort alphabetically. Need this sorting feature to be available at both times in 1 minibase. Currently, the alphabetic sort feature can only be used in 1 field at a time.

  9. Translate won't allow login

    When a user selects to translate the site to another language, the website no longer allows a user to log in to see any content that is protected. The "Google Translate" page will kick a user out of the website if they attempt to translate a page that is limited to signed-in users. When a user enters credentials on a translated "Sign In" window, the system hangs and never lets them in.

  12. Sort User Last Sign In list in reverse chronological order

    In Site Manager > Users & Groups > Users > Filter type = By Last Sign In, it would be more helpful and efficient to have this list sorted in reverse chronological order.

    Currently the process to see the most recent users to sign in involves scrolling to the bottom of the first page > clicking on the last page number in the list > then scrolling to the bottom of that page.

  13. Ally arrow download options should include PDF

    My website users are confused by the Ally download arrow. Non ADA users who simply want the standard PDF are clicking on the Ally arrow and ending up with format choices that don't meet their needs. Add a PDF format as one of the download options, so at least they can choose the correct format when they click the arrow.

  18. section delete

    When deleting a section it goes to the recycle bin. When we delete from the recycle bin we found that the files in the Files and Folders are not deleted. The files should be deleted at the same time. The is really important when you have teachers who violate copyright by putting pdf's from copyrighted sources on their site and it isn't caught until after the section has been deleted. The files are still there and found by the robocrawlers that the lawyers use to troll for their client materials.

    When we create a new page and we use the Content app (or any app with the editor) the default font size is smaller rather than normal. Please adjust the editor to default to the NORMAL size font.

    Why is the drop down still saying Flex Editor. There is no Flex to it and I thought that term was replaced.

    Having this ability to send an eAlert to Twitter directly from Headlines and Features would help promote important happenings more quickly, but also save us from having to recreate the post as an eAlert or directly on Twitter.
