  1. More control over E-alert subscribers

    At times it would be useful to have access to the list of accounts and manually add users as subscribers to E-alerts. For internal (department) purposes, it would be beneficial to let an administrator decide who should receive email updates. From a teacher's perspective, sometimes it's easier and less time-consuming to just find the parent account and add it to the subscriber list for his/her section. This is especially true for Athletics as well.

  2. MiniBase Upgrade

    Baltimore City Public Schools would like to see a minibase that can filter results based on specific query. For example, in the minibase below there are several broad categories in the first search field, some of which apply to specific descriptions and or vendors while others do not.

    In the example below, if a user selected 'books' and submitted, the results should exclude the columns labeled start and end date, solicitation number, etc.

    Those column results are specific to other categories and are not relevant to the specific query. Can this be done/built into C2?

  3. Mini Base Search Term Drop-downs

    When creating a minibase, is it possible to select "Science" (for example) as a searchable field and then have another drop-down of subcategories appear based on this field? This way users wouldn't have unsuccessful attempts if they didn't use exactly the right search term.

  6. Managing Home Page Annoucements

    Once an annoucement expires, it should automatically convert to an 'Inactive' status. Why do you need a warning sign for an expired annoucements when you deliberately set that expiration date to start with when it was posted?

    Also, it would be helpful if you could either sort sort by the 'status' or expiration date.

    Finally, a "Show Only Active" announcements button would help to quickly see what is showing up on the page now.

  7. Make Website Timeout Based on Inactivity

    There is currently an option to set the amount of time before people are automatically signed out of the website. However, it is only based on time and not on inactivity. This is very inconvenient when you're someone who works on the website all day long and you keep getting logged out in the middle of things.

    Logout should be based on inactivity.

    In the editor, when you are entering data into a row, you can't tab to the next cell/row.

  9. Make Schedule Star "Integration" Complete

    As it stands now, when our Athletic Department wants to import events from Schedule Star into the Atheltic Section Calendar they choose a range of dates to import. When changes are made in Schedule Star (several times a week) then the Athletic Department has to make the changes in Schedule Star AND in the Schoolwires calendar. Please make your Schedule Star "Integration" synchronous and allow your Calendar to synchronize with the Schedule Star information in real time. Otherwise, the "integration" is all but useless.

  10. Make active/inactive dates visable for Headlines

    I develop several Headlines at once and it would be great to be able to see the status when they will appear and when they will expire without having to open each one

  11. M-F Recurrence in Calendar

    Since we are SCHOOLS, a recurrence for M-F should be available instead of just "weekly" which puts events on Saturday and Sunday too.

  12. Lock user account login names after creation

    We use a specific format for staff logins as we use an intranet on our website. Users have the ability to change their login name. I find myself spending a lot of time resetting user account login names when they forget. This also makes maintenance more difficult. Could you please make this field only updateable by the admin?

  14. Is there a way to prevent any accounts who have a LDAP accou

    We run into a serious problem in that staff and students who have LDAP accounts will register on the schoolwires site and then when they login, it doesn‰Ûªt recognize them as an LDAP account and they are not given access to restricted resources. We need to delete their account and then have them sign in to create the LDAP account. Is there a way before creating an account it checks LDAP and will not allow the creation of an account if the userid already exists in LDAP?

  15. Inserting a background in a table

    When inserting a background in a table, the user will find it necessary to copy the URL and paste it into the image field (*under table properties/edit table properties), which involves many steps and isn't easy for the end user. Please consider add a browse to this field to avoid the copy paste tecnique.

  16. Increased User Management and Monitoring

    In addition to receiving locked out notifications, I think overall user account management would benefit from more monitoring. It would be nice to see "active users" (people currently logged in) and the amount of time Section Editors spend working on their sites. This could get labor-intensive, but having an area where we can see page edits and additions would be nice too so we can gauge how often sections are being updated.

  17. Include specific article in Insert Link Wizard

    To get a link to an article in a library you have to resort to cutting and pasting from the web address field in the browser. It would be nice if the Insert Link Wizard user interface would allow you to select from articles in a library and/or have a URL button at the article library level that will copy the article URL to the clipboard.

  18. Include Drop-down Menu When Adding Minibase Records

    When adding records to a Minibase database, like a staff directory, it is important that the data in the fields is consistent. Spaces or misspellings affect the way in which the end-user searches for information and the way in which the data is displayed and sorted. It would be good if a person entering a new record could select from data already entered in that field. That way, things like titles and categories could stay consistent.

  19. Include a Way to Move or Insert Fields in Minibase

    Currently, it is not possible to simply add a new field between two existing fields in something like a directory in table view. If you want to add a new field, it has to appear as the last column, unless you create a custom view, which presents other issues. This seems like a fairly common task that should be simple to do. It would be nice if there were an "insert field" option or a "sort fields" option. I know you can define the way in which the records are sorted when an end-user performs a search, but that's a…

  20. Include a Facilities Calendar

    Have the ability to have a facilities calendar open for internal and external purposes. Include a work order when reserving the facility.
