  1. Event Registration Dependencies

    Please add event registration dependancies to events that will prevent individuals from registering for multiple events given certain criteria (e.g. event of the same category, during overlapping times, on the same day, etc.). This would be useful when we do Professional Development workshops registration so as to prevent people from registering for multiple workshops during the same time period and of the same category.

  4. Enable Duplicate Event Function on Calendar

    It would be helpful if you could 'duplicate' an event with a single button so that you could simply move the same event to another date.

  5. Eliminate View Website Tab or Site Mgr Button from tab view

    I've observed teachers, who only have editing rights to one section, click the 'view website' tab from within the Site Manager to view their updated pages. When satisfied rather than clicking the 'site manager' tab on the left to return to where they were, they click the 'site manager' button on the right opening up a new site manager application. I've seen them do this repeatedly, hence having over a dozen duplicate windows open. Unfortunately they risk overwriting their edited pages if they were to save the first opened window after the last edited window.

  6. Edit Verbiage on Assignments Page for Other Uses

    I love the assignments page and would like to have the capability to modify it slightly for other uses - i.e. - I am using it to keep a running tally of Professional Development Opportunities. It would be very helpful if I were able to edit the verbiage to read Current Opportunities vs. Upcoming Assignments and Prior Opportunities vs Past Due Assignments. This wil be a very cool way to keep track of what has been offered. We'd also like to use the section for scholarships and would like to tweak the verbiage in a similar manner. Great tool! thanks…

  7. Easy photo and file delete

    It would be great to be able to do a batch delete of designated photos and files in the Files and Folders instead of deleting one at a time.

  8. Easier way to delete users

    At the beginning of each school year I import the students for each of our programs. By the next year, some graduate, some return in a different program (which would change their role), some do not return. I know that I can undo the import, but I would find it much easier (and less scary) if in the Users pager, there was a checkbox next to each user where I could check more than one user at a time, then click Remove. (kind of like in my email - I can click a checkbox and delete, move, etc). It is…

  10. Directory Listing on Channel

    Apparently it is coded into the product that when you reach 15 sections in a channel, it automatically displays as a directory. This is fine for a staff listing; however, it is not always want I want for other listings. This should be an option; not automatically happen.

  13. Default view of calendar

    By default we would like the option that our site show all calendar events to a user and they can opt to remove sections/schools and or better documentation for the general end user to know how to work the filters. The calendar feature I think is great if you instruct your end users on how to locate and navigate the filters. It is not intuitive for basic users. Our BOE have gotten complaints from parents/community members that they could not find information on the calendar and once we explain how to use the filters they are fine, however the system…

  15. Default Calendar Registration Layout

    We are using a section calendar on our Intranet for registration of Professional Development Opportunities. Most of the registration information is the same for every entry, contact info, # of seats etc. as they are approved by a single office. The same attachments (Professional Development Pre-Approval forms) need to always be provided as well. It would be wonderful to be able to create templates for these entries and save hours of retyping the same info.

  18. Create a calendar feature that tracks room/resource useage

    Can a feature be created that keeps track of rooms/resources to prevent overbooking. For example, rooms used when an event is posted to the distirct calendar?

    Let's say on 05/19 at 2:00 PM Room 212 is used for a meeting. Is there a way for the calendar to "know" that and provide a flag / warning / overbooking notification?

    Can a list / report that be available to print by date and/or by room? For example, all events taking place in Room 212 or the aud or conference room, etc.

  19. Copy Highlighted Text From Page When Creating Link To File

    When you attempt to create a link to a file, the text you highlight that you want to become the hyperlink is deleted if you do not re-type the text in to the "Link Text" box in Centricty. So you either have to remember to copy the text prior to begining the link to file process, or re-type it exactly in the field box and the original text is deleted and replaced with what you type. Can't Centricity automatically fill in the "Link Text" field with the highlighted text or not even ask for a link text field. It really…

  20. Configure Centricity To Automatically Update Links To Files

    If a file is moved from the root of a section's "Files and Folders" area to a subfolder, all the links to that file are broken have to be re-created. It would be great if Centricity could track those links and ask the user if he/she would like to update all links to the file when moved. Dreamweaver, FrontPage, etc. do this and I assumed Centricity did too, but I found out the hard way that it doesn't.
