  1. Allow 'Section Filters' to update when sections are added

    Currently, the site director is the only person who can turn on section filters within the calendar. If a subsite director adds a section to their site, the site director needs to go into filter options and check the box next to this new section for the calendar to be filtered. This is very tedious, particularly because site directors do not typically know when a subsite director adds a section. It would be helpful if the "select all" box can apply to all sections on a site -- even if the section has yet to be created. If the site…

  2. Add web disclaimer

    I would like to see a check box added to the "create link to outside site" dialog that when checked would pop up a window when the link is clicked to warn the user that they are leaving the school district site and the district is not responsible for content on the following pages.

  4. Add Email Confirmation field

    To eliminate typos in email addresses entered by new users, add an additional field to the register screen for the user to confirm email address. Same way password confirmation works.

  5. Add Descriptive Title to Assignments Page

    Our staff is starting to use the assignments page and they love it. The only confusion is, it is hard to tell one page from the other without them adding a lot of extra typing to the title. We need this to be quick and easy. The ability to add a simple intro at the top would really help. See examples:

  6. Add CAPTCHA field to Forms & Surveys

    I have contact forms on all of our school websites, and on occasion a bot finds one or more of them and decides to spam them for a while. It's very annoying and could be easily prevented if only there were a captcha field that could be added to forms.

  7. add ability to customize event registration confirmations

    Allow districts to customize the e-mail confirmations that are received when someone registers for an event and also when someone registers but is placed on the waiting list. The ability to have a unique message for both registrations would be helpful

  9. Add a field to the calendar import from Schedule Star

    All of the current fields that are imported (sport, level, game, gender, place and opponent) are all fixed fields in Schedule Star. Although our game location may be "Home" of home facilities are off-site and change. We need to be able to manually enter this information in a field in Schedule Star and directly import the information into Schoolwires. Right now, we have to go back into all of our events and manually change the location, which is creating double entry.

    I would like a 'new search' or 'reset' button after displaying results to a search request in a minibase so I can submit another request.

  12. Account List Search Results

    When viewing account details for an account listed in the search results in the user accounts page, there is no way to return to the search results after viewing the account. The original search needs to be run again. The Save and Cancel buttons in the Edit User page should return the user to the original search results.

  13. Ability to disable email option in Blog tool

    When administrators are blogging, they can't handle the surge of emails that tend to come in with every new blog and would prefer the option to turn off the automatic email everytime someone comments on their blog. Using a phony email causes other issues - on the end user side. Creating a generic email for blogs is a waste of money and time. This would be a great option.

  14. Ability to create Favorite Pages in Site Manager

    It would save a lot of time if you could flag or mark certain pages as "Favorites" in Site Manager. This function would enable you to access frequently updated pages much faster than having to drill down every single time.

  15. Ability to change the subject line of a survey response.

    It would be nice if the owner/creator of a survey could customize the subject line of a survey response - instead of see the generic "New Response for ..." subject. Someone already discussed that the sender should not be the owner/creator of the survey, but the person taking it and I agree with that as well (and voted for it.) Thanks for considering!

  18. A report breaks down the usage of roles, by sections & pages

    Hello, I have had a very good request come up, from our webmasters at the Niagara Wheatfield CSD. They have a pretty large site (district + 6 subsites) and many, many pages of content. Currently they are looking at revamping their roles - perhaps adding new or eliminating outdated roles. Is there any reporting mechanism which would allow them to see which roles are being used and where they are being used on the site. For instance if Mary Ann decided that she wanted to eliminate a role called Business Staff - because she felt that it was not really…

  19. A Parent Teacher Conference Scheduler Module

    Where parents could access and schedule/change/cancel times. Teachers could make appointments for parents without internet access. Teachers could check their shedule in real time and print them out. Could be coordinated with other teachers in the school for those parents that have more than one child with conferences. Tried the Calendar feature, did not work for us.

  20. Allow Section level survey items for forms and surveys

    Currently you can only create survey item banks if you have Site editor rights. Section editors cannot create their own item libraries, they either have to create a completely new survey from scratch or you have to allow them access to the root level. Section editors need a way to use survey items over and over again WITHOUT creating them from scratch.
