  1. Global list of forms and surveys, photo galleries, blogs

    As the site manager, I would appreciate a way to know of all the forms, surveys, photo galleries, blogs, etc. that are on the site without having to search through each subsite and sections.

  3. Default Calendar Registration Layout

    We are using a section calendar on our Intranet for registration of Professional Development Opportunities. Most of the registration information is the same for every entry, contact info, # of seats etc. as they are approved by a single office. The same attachments (Professional Development Pre-Approval forms) need to always be provided as well. It would be wonderful to be able to create templates for these entries and save hours of retyping the same info.

  4. Auto-Compress Images Upon Upload

    Centricity auto-compresses images when you insert an image and choose "Select Image from my Computer," but it doesn't auto-compress when you upload an image to a folder and choose "Select Image Already Uploaded to Site." Standard practice is to have an "images" folder. I teach my teachers to create an image folder, upload images to the folder, then insert images onto page from that folder. But if they upload a huge file, it stays huge. Please auto-compress all images of a certain size (500k?) or larger.

  5. Assignment calendar filtering

    Would like to be able to filter on the assignments by color coding and setting for a particular class, tests, or something else. This was suggested by one of out students.

  6. Allow larger file uploads

    I tried to upload a .wmv file for our site, and couldn't because I was told it was too large. It was 130 mb. Suggestion was to house it on an internal server and link to it. It would be nice to be able to upload video files of that size to our Schoolwires site.

  7. Allow exporting of users by roles

    It would be useful to have the ability to choose users by roles and then export them. The only option now is to export all users in one file and then sort them by role, which is difficult if users have more than one role.

  8. Allow customization of event confirmations

    Currently all districts share the same e-mail confirmation messages that are sent out when someone registers for an event. We would like to be allowed to customize the event confirmations to fit our district. We find a need for a different message especially on the e-mail that is sent when someone registers for a full event and is put on the wait list.

  9. Allow 'Section Filters' to update when sections are added

    Currently, the site director is the only person who can turn on section filters within the calendar. If a subsite director adds a section to their site, the site director needs to go into filter options and check the box next to this new section for the calendar to be filtered. This is very tedious, particularly because site directors do not typically know when a subsite director adds a section. It would be helpful if the "select all" box can apply to all sections on a site -- even if the section has yet to be created. If the site…

  10. Add Email Confirmation field

    To eliminate typos in email addresses entered by new users, add an additional field to the register screen for the user to confirm email address. Same way password confirmation works.

  11. Add Descriptive Title to Assignments Page

    Our staff is starting to use the assignments page and they love it. The only confusion is, it is hard to tell one page from the other without them adding a lot of extra typing to the title. We need this to be quick and easy. The ability to add a simple intro at the top would really help. See examples:

  13. Ability to disable email option in Blog tool

    When administrators are blogging, they can't handle the surge of emails that tend to come in with every new blog and would prefer the option to turn off the automatic email everytime someone comments on their blog. Using a phony email causes other issues - on the end user side. Creating a generic email for blogs is a waste of money and time. This would be a great option.

  14. A report breaks down the usage of roles, by sections & pages

    Hello, I have had a very good request come up, from our webmasters at the Niagara Wheatfield CSD. They have a pretty large site (district + 6 subsites) and many, many pages of content. Currently they are looking at revamping their roles - perhaps adding new or eliminating outdated roles. Is there any reporting mechanism which would allow them to see which roles are being used and where they are being used on the site. For instance if Mary Ann decided that she wanted to eliminate a role called Business Staff - because she felt that it was not really…

  15. Allow Section level survey items for forms and surveys

    Currently you can only create survey item banks if you have Site editor rights. Section editors cannot create their own item libraries, they either have to create a completely new survey from scratch or you have to allow them access to the root level. Section editors need a way to use survey items over and over again WITHOUT creating them from scratch.

  16. Universal Connector - Option To Inactivate Users On Import

    Currently with the Universal Connector import process, there is an option to delete users who are not on the list. It would be great to have an additional option to inactivate users who are not on the list.

  17. Replace "All News" at the bottom of display

    Since you are able to rename the Headlines and Features App, the words "All News" doesn't make sense when the user wants to open the whole page to search. Instead, replace "All News" with "More" or "All (insert app name)" or just "All." We've renamed our H&F app "Our Stories" so seeing the words "All News" isn't intuitive for our users.

  18. Streaming Photos from Social Media

    The Mobile app does a great job of grabbing pictures from our social media and this makes the app dynamic. Is it possible to do the same ting on our website, particularly we would like to grab pictures from our social media (facebook and twitter) and put them on our Home Page Photo gallery?

  20. Document Viewer App needs a field for users to add a Title attribute

    WCAG 2.0 requires that all Iframes have a Title Attribute assigned to them for Accessibility.

    A field in the document viewer app needs to be added so the users can add a suitably descriptive title for the Frame.
