My suggestion is...

e-alert

We use the email e-alert system a lot and I think we need a better way to manage or e-alert groups. We would like to be able to
-automatically import our parents' information from Blackboard Connect
-allow individuals to manage their subscription to the e-alert system
-maintain an email e-alert system without having to use user accounts
-automatically merge employee information into the e-alert system
