Automatically pull school identifier (possibly from DNS or friendly web adress setting) and automatically add that to all calendar postings.
When events are posted to another calendar the event title is displayed, but most users don't include the originating school in that title. This causes confusion for all users. If the system automatically added the school identifier to the event title it would address these issues:
1- Currently when events are pushed up with no school identifier we decline them and ask the requester to add the school initials and resubmit. This takes extra time and frustrates the school calendar editor.
2- When we miss a request and don't get the school ID in the title it has caused extra work when the event needs edited. We cant edit it and don't know who entered it originally to tell them to edit it.
3- This is the most important and confusing - When end users filter for customized calendars, or subscribe to and add customized calendars to their mobile device all events show and it is impossible to figure out what events are for what school. This will at least allow them to nail it down to a single site.
