TIPLINE REPORTS NEEDED!!
Our district uses the Tip Line extensively and we need the ability to run a report of tips received. To create reports for our district leadership, I must copy and paste each field into a spreadsheet so data can then be sorted by Category, School, Date, etc. Other reports can be run in the Bb/ParentLink system. It's hard to accept a program as important as TipLine that has zero reporting features.
We have 23 campuses and are adding a 3rd HS which will bring the total to 24 campuses. The amount of extra work that has to be done to create reports by hand for our Board of Trustees is substantial. This shouldn't have to be considered an "enhancement". This is a basic reporting function.
We have hosted 2 Blackboard Users’ Group Meetings at Hays CISD. I have brought this to the attention of our Bb reps and have submitted it to Users Voice. Please pass this on to the programmers.
In 100% agreement! We need a report for the Tip Line and Tip Manager that can be run by users or at least District Administrators and possibly even School Administrator accounts. As of right now, there is no way to identify how many total tips have been received or how many tips have been received for each category. This is a huge downside to the Tip Line and Tip Manager piece within Blackboard. We have 68 campuses and I am currently copying and pasting data from the Tip Manager into Excel and sorting through it all myself to create a weekly report for our Assistant Superintendents. This is time consuming, and it only makes sense that a built-in report be added for the Tip Line and the Tip Manager.
