TipLine Emails Broken when Adding Additional Email Addresses
There is an issue with the Tip Line(TL) notifications that just does not make sense and needs to be addressed for safety and ease of use reasons.
Currently the TL notification emails can be setup at the District level to go to specific addresses based on which category is chosen. This is wonderful and works perfectly.
THE PROBLEM TO BE ADDRESSED:
If you enter at a School level the local parties that should get notifications of a TL submission it BREAKS the link with the District and only the local school addresses receive notifications. This is an undeniable FLAW that needs to be corrected.
In today's climate with the recent uptick in violent school level issues it is imperative that both the school level and district level stateholders receive the TL notifications.
We are a medium to large district of 81 schools and it would be counterproductive to have to enter 81 schools worth of admin staff to the district to receive TL notifications because all would get them when the email would be for only one school.
The ease of use of this feature is being overshadowed by the negativity of the reporting and thus is almost negating the viability of this product as part of the Mass Notification system that Blackboard offers. The documentation makes a claim that the product cannot live up to, thus rendering it useless.
