    Not everyone is using LDAP, so I would suggest making these staff data databases all able to integrate together whether using LDAP to import the data or manually uploading the directory information.

    I would also suggest making it so you can choose which product to update the data in (Web Community Manager or Bb Comms)

    Just so we don't have to keep updating two or three different databases whenever there is a change in a staff members record.

    Hi Linda, Our district had the same issue. Support asked us to create a page with what ever information we wanted on it, then was able to redirect the "Forgot my password" button to that page. Ours takes you to a page that says"If you forgot or do not know your password, please contact the helpdesk at ***-***-xxxx" Hope this helps

    Hi Peter, I agree with this and have voted. You can change the message on the 404 page with a little code added into your template. In site manager add the below code to configure/system settings, template tab in the area for "Head Content"

    <!-- GLOBAL CHANGE 404 PAGE TO CUSTOM TEXT -->
    <script>
    $(window).load(function(){
    $('div.error-404 h1').replaceWith("<h1>Page or file not found.</h1>");
    $('div.error-404 p:first').replaceWith("<p>You may have used a bookmark, link or search result that is expired or outdated. Please browse our site for further information.</p>");
    });
    </script>

    Just tweak to what you want it to say. if you know any javascript wizards, they can probably add a line of code there that will show the reffering page as well.

    We have recently had users in several different browsers, operating systems and versions of both, having problems with the code not executing. It simply takes them to a blank headline body page and does not forward. I'm sure contacting support would not help because this is one of those ghost in the machine things where there is no pattern, nor rhyme or reason why this is happening except to say "You get what you get if using a hack to get around functionality that is not yet available".

    I have stopped using this code, because I need every person, every time regardless of what they are using to access the information to get the information.

    I think its time to implement this for real in site manager via the interface.

    Anyone know if you can open the link in a new window? (I tryed all the usual workarounds to make this happen (adding "target=_blank" etc. )

    Also can you redirect to an external website or does this just work within your site/subsites? (it does work for internal pdf docs as well)

    Hi Eric, care to share the code your using to do that until this is addressed?
    :)
