On the topic of Calendars and Locations . . . just a crazy thought . . . why isn't there a way to select the location from an existing minibase within WCM so that I can stop retyping every location address for every event on my calendar--a total waste of my time and energy? It would be so nice just to pick the location from a list.
It's sad that I've used free or low cost calendar apps on my older websites that do this easily--but WCM does not. And I've asked for this every year since we adopted SchoolWires.

If we use School Directory app, we already have a database. I keep making this request to everyone I meet. The Calendar app needs a location database!

I notice that the favicons for browsers that support tabs has been changed from the yellow SchoolWires icon to the Bb icon. I find this change confusing to users who are also using Blackboard in the same browser. I would like the favicon to be and .ico image related to my school or district to avoid confusion.

My support ticket response is as follows:
"QA reported that while this functionality is not currently available in the Minibase App, there are no plans to implement this in the near future."
I suppose, therefore, that it would be advisable to remove email addresses from any apps other than Staff Directory and About Teacher.
